Consob, the regulator of the Italian stock exchange, has given the green light to the tender offer that intends to delist Tod's Group.
Recently, L Catterton, the world's largest consumer private equity investment company under LVMH Group, has applied for privatization and delisting of Tod's, which has been approved by Italian companies and the Exchange Commission.
The voluntary tender offer was officially launched on March 25th and ended on May 8th.
According to the terms of the transaction previously disclosed by both parties, L Catterton will acquire about 13 million shares of Tod's SpA at a price of about 512 million euros (about RMB 4 billion) through its subsidiary Crown Bidco, and the final shareholding ratio will reach about 36%.
